1. Send A Quote Request
This is the stage where you give Blossom as much information about the project as possible. As some projects are highly confidential it goes without saying that we are more than happy to sign NDA's (non-disclosure agreements). All Blossom designers and developers are required to sign confidentiality agreements prior to starting with us as well.
We need to know your likes and dislikes, the styles you prefer, your goals, hopes and dreams. We also need to know small details like whether or not your printer is supplying a knife, or if we will be creating it (relevant for packaging or shopping bag design), if we are print managing the project, who the web host is. All this contributes to the cost of the project. ![]()
2. Blossom Graphic Design Quote
This is the contract Blossom Graphic Design uses to outline the project scope, to make sure we are both 100% sure of our respective roles and responsibilities. To avoid any misunderstanding, when this is sent to you, please read the document thoroughly, and make sure that we have outlined everything that the project involves and that you understand what you are paying for. If it is confusing, or you don't understand anything, please don't hesitate to ask.
Read Blossom Graphic Design terms and conditions![]()
This is also the stage at which we will invoice you for deposit to commence the project. This is payable prior to commencing any work. We will not start your project before this is paid. If more than 30 days lapse without payment or we don't hear from you and we cannot get hold of you, we will cancel your project booking and move on to the next project.
3. Your Brief
We cannot emphasise enough how important it is your you write this as thoroughly as possible, and make your project outline clear. Remember, our designers don't know you, and we all want the best from the project, but if you don't give us enough information we may go down the wrong path all together. Be as clear as you can and don't assume we will know what you are talking about. You can send us links and post us items, anything to help Blossom design the best solution for you.![]()
3. Project Commencement
Now that we are all clear on the desired outcome of the project, Blossom will brainstorm solutions and research possible outcomes. This involved reference books, websites, competitor research, market research, scouring the web for inspiration.
We work with our designers using an online collaboration tool, so we will send you an invitation to sign up, so you can be involved in the project, make comment, send files and receive files.
4. Sketches, Concepts and Ideas
Once we have in mind a list of design scenarios, we start sketching an outline of the project solution, concepts and directions. Generally we will forward you a selection of concepts.
5. Presentation of Your Boutique Design Solution
Depending on the project scope, Blossom's team will devise a number of design solutions to cover your needs, the market and my interpretation of the brief. I then present these to you in a pdf format for perusal and comment.
6. Revisions and Alterations
Once you have had a change to review my solution, you can add your input and opinions, and we work on moving toward an outcome that is what you want and need in business. The number of revisions is limited to the time quoted on your project.
7. Stay on Track to Completion
Because design is such a creative area in which to work, Blossom Graphic Design strives to maintain effective working systems and project management to ensure that we are able to allocate appropriate time and resources to suit your budget and desired goals.
Our specialised online collaboration and workflow software enables us to create design work for clients across the globe, as well as work with the best international design talent, regardless of where they are located. We will give you, our client, access to your project online, so you can view status, stages and finished product, as well as contribute your suggestions and feedback.
